Upgrade Ram on 5312 Emachines Notebook

I got a request for info on upgrading ram on an emachine.

I’ve not tried myself as I’ve upgraded to a Gateway.

Here are my tips:

Ram should be easier then the cleaning the fan.

The back of your 5312 has an opening with access to the removable stick.
I haven’t looked at my 5312 for a while - but if you buy the right stick you can safely remove the old and replace with the new.

Of course - do your homework as I take no liability for broken ram =).

Make sure to ground yourself before touching the ram. Hold it on the sides.
